Govt to leverage on entrepreneurship to grow the economy

President Hakainde Hichilema says the new dawn government is determined to change the mindset of citizens from always waiting upon the government to create jobs.

President Hichilema says his administration is committed to ensure that the Zambian economy grows by leveraging on entrepreneurship among citizens.

He has charged that time has come for citizens to take the lead in all the opportunities that different sectors offer and allow foreign investors to partner with local entrepreneurs.

Speaking at midlands west Zambia Adventist mens organization entrepreneurship conference themed, “are you a man or just a male”, in a speech read on his behalf by Lusaka province minister Sheal Muliyata President Hichilema said it is necessary that the church and government work together to transform males in men through inculcating entrepreneurship.

He states that this is the only way to have strong families, communities and a country as a whole.
