The process of repealing public order act receiving serious attention – Kabesha

Attorney general Mulilo Kabesha says the process of repealing the controversial public order act is receiving serious attention.

Has acknowledged that the public order act has always been a nuisance to the Zambian people in a democratic space.

Mr. Kabesha says the act in its current form infringes citizens’ democratic rights.

Mr. Kabesha says the new dawn administration has demonstrated political will to repeal the public order act.

He tells q-news that his office is looking at the public order act with keen interest.
