Copper queen goalkeeper Hazel Nali has thanked the football association of Zambia and the nation at large for the support during the qualification stage to the Africa Womens cup (AWCON).
She says the team did not despair despite missing some of its best players in Barbara Banda and Margaret Belemu.
Nali has attributed the successful qualification to team work and effort that was put in by all the players as a collective.
She has since urged the association to continue supporting women football in Zambia as it continues to bring glory to Zambia.
Yesterday, the team was treated to a special luncheon at state house in Lusaka to appreciate them for the work well done.
