Northern Province minister Leonard Mbao has encouraged residents of Northern Province and the country at large to take a keen interest in getting vaccinated.
Mr. Mbao says that there is need for the Zambian people not to be swayed by the myths and misconception surrounding the vaccine but go and get the vaccine.
He notes that the continued shunning of people in taking the vaccine has contributed to the surge of the pandemic hence the need for them to adhere to the preventive measures suggested by the ministry of health.
He further advised the ministry of health to increase sensitization on benefits of vaccination as many people are still ignorant about the benefits of the vaccine.
