Zambians take up ownership of the constitution

Political Activist Dante Saunders says citizens should awaken to the reality of understanding that they are the custodians of the republican constitution.

Mr. Saunders says the Zambian constitution gives power and rights to the citizens and that no section of the constitution can be changed or amended by members of parliament without the majority consent of the citizens who elect mps to represent them in parliament.

He tells Q-news in an interview that the Zambian people should take up ownership of the constitution as custodians of the supreme law.
