Political analyst Mark Simuwe says president Hakainde Hichilema’s respect for freedom of expression should not be mistaken for a weakness.
Mr. Simuwe has told QTV news that the recent reckless utterances by some senior members of the opposition patriotic front leave much to be desired.
He says if president Hichilema was to take the route that the pf took when they were in power, a number of them would be behind bars on mere suspicion.
Mr. Simuwe says there is a better way of criticizing the government based on policy instead of resorting to baseless attacks.
He states that president Hichilema and the UPND alliance have tried under very difficult circumstances to clean up the corruption rot left by PF which people should be talking about.
