Lands Minister Elijah Muchima Says That He Will Not Be Pushed And Rushed Into Taking Action At The Forest 27.

Mr. Muchima Told Journalists That The Current Delay In Addressing The Forest 27 Issue Is Necessary As Government Wants To Ensure That The Right And Legal Procedure Is Followed.

Mr. Muchima States That The UPND Government Is Taking The Forest 27 Matter With Extreme Caution Because Some Of The People Who Built And Are Staying There Are Completely Innocent.

He Further States That Government Needs A Technical Report Which Will Back The Next Course Of Caution That Will Be Taken At The Forest 27.

He Further Explains That Government Also Needs An Environmental Impact Report To Be Undertaken And The Process Is Expensive Which Is Why Government Is In Talks With WWF To See How It Can Help In Conducting The Said Report.

Mr. Muchima Has Since Urged Zambians To Be Patient With The New Dawn UPND Government As It Addresses The Forest 27 Issue.
