Zambians for Unity Peace and Development President Ronnie Jere says government’s decision to indirectly force people to get vaccinated will create a frenzy for fake covid-19 certificates.
In an interview with q news, Mr. Jere notes that government’s move to restrict entry into all government premises to vaccinated people only will have negative effects in the fight against covid-19 because it will inadvertently create a black market for falsified covid-19 certificates.
Mr. Jere says it is a violation of not only the constitution but fundamental human rights for government to force civil servants and the citizenry into getting vaccinated.
Mr. Jere has since advised government to reverse the decision to restrict access to all government premises only to the vaccinated and says they should formulate a different way to encourage people to get vaccinated.
