Some residents of Lusaka have received the COVID-19 prevention measures announced by the government with mixed feelings.
Those spoken to have told Q-news that they are hesitant to take the vaccine because of the supposed side effects, while others attributed their hesitancy to myths and misconception surrounding the vaccines.
Others feel there has not been adequate information provided about the vaccines.
Another resident says he does not trust western manufactured vaccines and can only take the vaccine that is manufactured in Africa.
Meanwhile Senior Chief Kaputa of Kaputa District in Northern Provinces has stressed the need for government to do more public sensitization on the vaccines.
