FODEP in support of the nullification of Kabushi seat

Foundation for democratic process executive director George Chimembe has supported the nullification of kabushi Member of Parliament bowman lusambo as he feels this will be a lesson to other politicians who would want to use underhand methods.

Recently high court judge Edward Musona nullified the election of kabushi member of parliament Bowman Lusambo on grounds of electoral malpractices.

Speaking in an interview with Q news, Mr. Chimembe is of the view that if Mr. Lusambo intends to take the matter to the constitutional court he might be disqualified from contesting because of the malpractices.

He says these are some of the dangers when people try to use shortcuts and financial muscle to gain access to Manda hill.
