Chief Madzimawe of the Ngoni Speaking people in Kasenengwa district, Eastern province has urged stakeholders to stop criticizing President Hichilema for undertaking foreign trips, but instead offer alternatives on what they think he should do to ensure the economy recovers.
Speaking in an interview with Q-news, Chief Madzimawe says it imperative for President Hichilema to continue travelling outside the country in order for him to secure opportunities that can help revive the economy.
The traditional leader says it is important for President Hichilema to travel outside the country in order for him to seek advice from leaders from developed countries on how he can develop the country.
He states that there is nothing wrong for the President to travel outside the country as all his predecessors travelled outside the country to lobby for development during their tenure.
