UPND working with imperialists to strip EL’s immunity – Nakachinda

Opposition Patriotic Front Chairperson for Information and Publicity Raphael Nakachinda has accused some members of the ruling United Party for National Development (UPND) of partnering with imperialist organisations with the motive of removing the immunity of former President Edgar Lungu.

Mr. Nakachinda says the UPND members are doing this in the guise of the fight against corruption.

He says this is evident from how some UPND surrogate labour movement leaders have been allegedly paid huge sums of money to start championing the agenda for the removal of Mr Lungu’s immunity without valid reasons.

Mr. Nakachinda adds that the leaders are taking advantage of President Hichilema’s ignorance by presenting to him things that are normal within the operations of government.

He states that President Hichilema is being fed with half-baked information so that he can give them authority to run with their propaganda to champion the removal of Mr. Lungu’s immunity.
