Association of mine suppliers and contractors has lamented on the current business environment saying nothing has significantly changed to drive business especially in the mines.
The association has also noted that the effects of covid-19 pandemic coupled with the ended general elections has led to apprehension among mining companies triggering low investment and production thereby affecting business.
In interview with Q news, association president Augustine Mulenga said 2021 has been challenging.He however expressed hope of having a better 2022 especially with the changes in the mineral royalty taxation.
