The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has instituted investigations into the matter in which Leopards Hill Memorial Park (LHMP) has requested all its installers to pay a 20% commission.
CCPC Senior Public Relations Officer, Namukolo Kasumpa says it is within the mandate of the commission to initiate its own investigations in any matter it deems of concern as provided for under section 55 (1) of the Competition and Consumer Protection Act (CCPA) No.24 of 2010.
Ms. Kasumpa says the public will be kept informed on any further development regarding the matter.
