Opposition Patriotic Front (Pf) Secretary General Davies Mwila Has Dismissed The Media Report Circulating On Various Social Media Outlets As Fake News.
Mr Mwila Says It Has Come To His Attention That The Said Statement Purports That He Has Threatened To Expel Another Pf Senior Member Chishimba kambwili From The Patriotic Front.
In A Statement Issued To The Media Today, Mr Mwila Has Categorically Stated That The Statement Is Fake And Must Be Dismissed With The Contempt It Deserves Because At No Point Did He Issue Such A Statement.
He Adds That The Malicious Statement Is A Creation Of Enemies Of The Pf Who Wants To Sow A Seed Of Division Within The Party.
Mr Mwila Says The Pf Is A Well-Organized Political Party With A Party Constitution That Clearly Stipulates The Manner In Which The Party Elects Its President And How Discipline In The Party Is Enforced.
He Has Since Assured Pf Members That The Party Will Strictly Adhere To The Provisions Of Its Constitution In Electing The Next Party President And That All Those Who Are Eligible To Contest Will Freely Do So Without Fear Or Favor.
