Dont appoint newly joining opposition leaders – Changala

Human rights activist Brebner Changala has advised president Hakainde Hichilema not to appoint the opposition political party leaders who are now joining the UPND alliance to higher positions.

Mr. Changala tells q news that there is need for the UPND administration to prioritize offering higher positions to the old and qualified  members of the UPND party that fought for the party in the opposition until they got into power.

He says there is nothing wrong with the upnd administration to receive members from other political parties but what is wrong is to sideline the vision carriers of the party and offer the key positions  to the newly joining opposition political party leaders.

He further warns upnd to be careful with the leaders that are currently joining them as they are doing so in search of job opportunities and not to develop the country.
