Zambia’s total public debt as at end of June, 2021 stood at 26.96 billion united states dollars with interest rates included , the ministry of finance has announced.
In a public debt summary made available to Q news by the ministry of finance as at June 2021 Zambia’s total public debt excluding interest arrears was equivalent to 26.44 billion united states dollars.
The summary further indicates that during the same period external stock, excluding interest arrears, of central government debt, guaranteed SOES loans and non-guaranteed SOES loans, amounted to USD 12.91bn, USD 1.57bn and USD 195.7million respectively.
