NAPSA, NHIMA and WCFTB boards dissolved

Labor and Social Security Minister, Brenda Tambatamba has  with immediate effect dissolved the boards of the national pension scheme authority(NAPSA), National Health And Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA)  and the workers compensation fund control board.

In press releases made available to q news Mrs. Tambatamba said she has dissolved the NAPSA board in pursuant to section 3 of the national pension scheme act number 40 of 1996.

The Minister further states that the NHIMA board has also been dissolved in pursuant to section 6(1) of the national insurance management authority act number 2 of 2018 as read with section 26 of the interpretation and general provision act ,chapter 2 of the laws of Zambia.

In regards to the dissolution of the workers compensation fund control board, Mrs. Tambatamba says it is in line with the Workers Compensation Fund Control act number 10 of 1999 as read with section 10(2) of the interpretation and general provision act , chapter 2 of the laws of Zambia.

She has since thanked the outgoing board members for the services rendered to the three boards during the period they served.
