Ministry of Education to recruit more teachers than ever

Minister of Education Douglas Syakalima says his ministry will next year recruit more teachers than have been recruited in the last 15-years.

Mr. Syakalima adds that all things that don’t seem to be correct in the ministry will be addressed including paying teachers who have been working for some time now without appearing on the payroll.

he has stressed the need to put things in order in the ministry.

Mr Syakalima further states that all those teachers who have not been elevated after upgrading their qualifications will be looked, noting that some have been working in the same capacity five years after upgrading and presenting their qualifications to the relevant offices.
