Republican President Hakainde Hichilema says his new dawn administration will work in a way that demonstrates fairness and equity across the country.
Speaking when he addressed UPND supporters who went to receive him at Chipata Airport today, President Hichilema says this because God knew what he was doing when he placed every Zambian in this country and gave the country all the resources that need to be exploited.
And President Hichilema has thanked the people of Eastern province for voting for the UPND in the August 12, 2021 general election by giving the party 49% of the vote.
He has commended the people of Eastern province for ignoring the divisive and tribal campaign of the PF by voting for the UPND.
President Hichilema says the people of Eastern province chose to unite the country by voting for him despite all the negativity and the violence.
The Head of State states is in eastern province to drum up support for UPND candidates in the Kaumbwe and Lusangazi parliamentary and local government by-elections slated for Thursday, 21st October, 2021.
