The Forum for Democratic Process (FODEP) has charged the UPND administration was not ready to form government going by the actions of the President so far with regard appointments.

FODEP Executive Director George Chimembe tells QTV news that the president has been seen relieving people of their duties without having any replacements to fill up the positions.

Mr. Chimembe notes that alternative appointments are taking long to come when these people are supposed to be appointed immediately the other is relieved of their duties.

He says this is what will inspire confidence in the people and make the new dawn government look organized.

Mr Chimembe states that the delay in making appointments has attracted unnecessary criticism from the people who want perfection and are looking at the president to be very perfect which is not possible.

Mr. Chimembe has however; called on the Zambian people to exercise some patience as such appointments may take time especially because the constitution does not give a timeframe and because it is an overhaul of the system.
