UPND National Youth Chairperson Gilbert Liswaniso has called on the UPND youths to be agents of change despite the many hardships went through at the hands of PF cadres while in opposition.
Mr. Liswaniso says what happened last week at the Lusaka high court during the hearing of the Mandevu constituency petition where a PF member was manhandled by suspected UPND supporters is very disappointing and heartbreaking.
He tells QTV news that had it not been for the two brave police officers that stood to defend and protect the PF supporter from the angry UPND supporters, another life would have been lost in the process of seeking revenge.
Mr Liswaniso says these are some of the things that made the Zambia people to vote the PF government out as human life was not respected and people were killed anyhow.
He has stressed that people voted for freedom, peace and unity and not lawlessness.
Mr Liswaniso has advised UPND members not to take the law in their own hands, but allow the police and other investigative wings to take up such matters.
