Govt making strides towards achieving quality inclusive education

Vice President Inonge Wina

Vice President Inonge Wina says government is making strides towards achieving the goal of quality education that fosters inclusivity, equity and life-long learning.

In a speech read on her behalf by Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet Patrick Kangwa during the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) 20th graduation ceremony, Ms Wina says government is implementing the 7th National Development Plan which seeks enhanced human capital development.

She says all social goods intended to be realized under the sustainable development goals cannot be attained without quality education.

Ms Wina adds that government has initiated a robust legela regulatory regime to ensure strong institutional support for all its initiatives.

She has since encouraged the graduating students to use the skills and knowledge they have acquired for public service.

And in a vote of thanks, graduating students’ representative, Timothy Nsapato has encouraged his fellow graduates to continue furthering their studies.
