Police have launched investigations into reports of an intercepted mercenary plane in Lusaka.
The Daily Nation newspaper in its edition number 2407 published on Wednesday, 2nd October,2019 carried an article headline “MERCENARIES,PLANE INTERCEPTED?”.
Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo says Police have taken keen interest in the revelation by the newspaper and inquiry in the matter has since been opened.
Mrs Katongo says the matter will be thoroughly investigated and the outcome communicated to the public.
She has since appealed to anyone with relevant information relating to the same matter to avail it to the Police.
