Bailiffs pounce on Zambia Red Cross Society

Court bailiffs this afternoon pounced on the Zambia Red Cross Society Head office in Lusaka confiscating office furniture and vehicles.

The bailiffs are believed to have been acting on behalf of former Zambia Red Cross Society Secretary General Charles Mushitu who is owed by the society.

One of the bailiffs who sought anonymity told a QTV News crew that rushed to the scene that the alleged debt is owed to one of the former employees of the Zambia Red Cross.

While the bailiffs where still packing the confiscated items, Mr Mushitu was seen driving off.
