UPND calls on President Lungu to resign

Steven Katuka – UPND Secretary General

The opposition United Party for National Development has urged President Edgar Lungu to resign and allow a serious leader to takeover and correct the wrongs and economic hardships he has allegedly created.

Party Secretary General Steven Katuka is of the view that even if President Lungu was given more years to rule, nothing can come out of his leadership because he has allegedly failed.

Mr. Katuka says the rising cost of goods and services is a clear indication that President Lungu and the Patriotic Front (PF) leadership have failed to govern the country.

He states that the ruling party has no solutions to the problems they have created for the millions of Zambians.

Mr Katuka points out that while Tanzania is reducing fuel pump prices, the PF government is seeing an opportunity to make money.
