UPND youths threaten to sue Kanganja for restricting HH’s movements

UPND youths in Lusaka province have threatened to drag Inspector General of Police Kakoma Kanganja to court for repeatedly blocking their leader Hakainde Hichilema from making donations around the country.

Party provincial Youth Wing Spokesperson Otis Bwalya says they want Mr. Kanganja to explain in Court where the Police are getting the power to infringe upon Mr. Hichilema’s freedom of movement.

Mr. Bwalya says UPND youths believe that as a Zambian citizen, Mr. Hichilema has every right to donate food or any other items anywhere provided those food stuffs or items are not harmful to the people.

He has told Q-News that the youths are dismayed that the Police have continued to stop Mr. Hichilema from interacting with people affected by hunger in the Country.
