Alliance for Democracy and Development (ADD) President Charles Milupi says he expects the 2020 national budget to be more clearly outlined with regards the sources of revenue.
Mr. Milupi says is it important that the minister of finance tells the nation where government will generate the money to finance the budget amidst the current economic challenges.
He tells q-news that this is particularly that besides the power deficit and increased fuel prices, there are fewer workers paying taxes given the high levels of unemployment in the country.
Mr. Milupi says in view of these economic challenges, the country will need to have an accurate and realistic 2020 national budget.
He has also noted the need to be realistic with regards the implementation of austerity measures by completely doing away with wasteful expenditure.
