Caritas Zambia urges former ministers to respect the order and decision by the constitution court

Caritas Zambia has urged all former ministers to respect the order and decision by the constitution court ordering them to pay Caritas Zambia back all the money they accumulated after the dissolution of parliament in 2016 on moral grounds.

CARITAS Zambia executive director Eugene Kabilika says no interference is expected from President Edgar Lungu in this issue, but that the money should simply be paid back.

Mr Kabilika says relevant government institutions should now do the calculations regarding how much each one of those affected should pay back.

He has also urged citizens to demand for what is theirs from the former ministers.
