Chintala doubts mealie meal price reduction

Millers Association of Zambia President Andrew Chintala has expressed doubt that mealie meal prices will reduce any time soon.

Mr. Chintala has told QTV news in an interview that even though there is stability in terms of mealie meal prices; the prices have continued to skyrocket.

He has however, assured members of the public that the Association together with the Ministry of Agriculture are doing everything possible to ensure that mealie meal prices reduce so that the majority Zambians can afford.

Mr. Chintala has expressed hope that as the country is heading towards the end of marketing season, things will normalize.
