Nkhuwa to write Zesco over power supply presidential directive

Energy Minister Mathew Nkhuwa says he is writing to ZESCO and the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) to immediately implement the presidential directive not to load shedding health institutionS and water supply facilities.

This follows President Edgar Lungu’s directive to the Minister of Energy that the directive by implemented with effect from midnight on Friday.

Mr. Nkhuwa has told QTV News shortly after President Lungu made his speech to the National Assembly.
