Evidence of corrupt people sits with those in power – Miti

Alliance for Community Action Executive Director, Laura Miti says the evidence of the people who are corrupt in government is sitting with those who hold power.

Responding to the challenge by the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) for the Yellow Card Campaign Organisers to provide evidence of corrupt government officials to relevant authorities, Ms Miti says the Anti Corruption Commission and the Drug Enforcement Commission know who the corrupt people in government are.

She says President Edgar Lungu should therefore ensure that all the corrupt people in government are arrested and put a stop to corruption.

Ms Miti says if the people of Zambia allow themselves to be distracted by politicians with questions of evidence of who is corrupt; the fight against corruption will not be won.
