I’ve been ready to meet Lungu without conditions- HH

UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema says has been ready to meet President Edgar Lungu without any conditions attached.

Mr Hichilema says the UPND is very consistent and means well when it says there is need for genuine dialogue under the leadership of the church mother bodies in order to resolve a number of outstanding issues in the country.

He says the citizens are hurting and time is running out to resolve key issues in the governance of the country.

Mr Hichilema says the church mother bodies have done it before with a proven record of success in resolving impasses and believes they can do it again.

The UPND leader says all it takes is genuineness and openness in discussions within the spirit of give and take and readiness to implement whatever is agreed upon.

President Edgar Lungu has said he is ready to dialogue with the UPND leader provided he does not attach any condition to the meeting
