NICO Insurance Zambia Limited has revealed that its net revenue increased to K86 million for the financial year ending 31st December, 2018 from K65 million recorded in 2017, representing 32 percent growth.
NICO Insurance Chief Executive Officer, Geoffrey Chirwa says the Company also realized K198 million gross revenue owing to the positive performance of the Zambian economy in 2018.
Speaking at a media briefing to announce audited Financial Results for the year 2018, Mr. Chirwa says in terms of claims, NICO Insurance paid a total sum of K50 million in 2018 compared to K45 million in 2017.
He has since described the growth at net level for the year 2018 as the best ever recorded by the company in the last ten years.
And Mr. Chirwa says the company has started the year 2019 on a good note so far with Gross Revenue being recorded at K60 million compared to K51 million which was recorded during the same period in 2018.
