Report Masqueraders Kapata warns

Lands Minister Jean kapata has warned members of the public to be alert and report any individuals masquerading as officers from the ministry collecting money for land titles because the ministry has not yet assigned anybody to carry out the exercise.

Ms Kapata says the ministry will alert the public when they will carry out the exercise in full throttle where the public will be required to pay a very minimal amount before being given their land titles.

The Minister said in an interview that her ministry has an ambitious programme this year of issuing 75,000 title deeds per quarter.

Meanwhile Ms Kapata has encouraged youths to be innovative as it is not only white collar jobs but creative activities like farming that can sustain them.

She says the ministry has received applications from youths interested in farming and has further advised those who have not yet applied  to write applications for pieces of land so that they can be given land to work on in order to be able to sustain themselves and contribute to the national food basket through farming.
