Govt urged to explain vice president’s absence

All People’s Congress Party President Nason Msoni has challenged government to explain to the nation the plight and absence of Republican Vice President Inonge Wina who has not been seen since her return from India where she went for medical checkups.

Mr. Msoni says it is a source of worry and great source that the vice president has not only been missing in parliament, but was also missing during last week’s International women’s day commemoration.

He is hopeful that government will find it prudent to inform the nation and explain what the reasons behind the vice president’s absence are.

Vice President Inonge Wina has arrived back in the country on 14th February from India were she went for a medical check-up.
