The ruling Patriotic Front in Lufwanyama Constituency Leadership have commended Chieftainess Shimukunami for releasing 250 hectares of land to a Zambian investor for the construction of the first-ever fertilizer manufacturing plant in the area.
Pf Lufwanyama Constituency Information and Publicity Secretary Henry Chilombo is confident that the local investor in the name of Juvans limited will add value to the development of Lufwanyama District.
Mr. Chilombo says the party will continue to work with traditional leaders and local investors in improving the livelihood of the people.
He has told q-news in an interview that the party is excited at her royal highness decision to release the land following Juvans limited’s expression of interest to set up a manufacturing plant expected to create employment for the local people in Lufwanyama.
Mr. Chilombo says the gesture shown by her royal highness signifies the willingness by the traditional leaders to work with the pf government under the leadership of President Edgar Lungu.
