No Zambian were on board the Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 which crashed on Sunday morning, during a flight from Addis Ababa to Nairobi, with 149 passengers.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Joseph Malanji has told q-news in a statement that Ethiopian airlines final list of passengers on the flight slows there was no Zambian on board.
Mr. Malanji says the Zambian Embassy in Ethiopia will continue to monitor the developments in Ethiopia and will update the ministry accordingly.
He has however extended deep condolences to the government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
