UPND and PF urged to take responsibility for wrong actions

Every Home for Christ Regional Director, Bishop Dr. Richard Kakuwa

AFRICA Dialogue Country Director Bishop Richard Kakuwa has advised the UPND and Patriotic Front tO begin to take responsibility of their actions whenever they are in the wrong.

Bishop Kakuwa has observed that as long as the two main political parties do not own up to their mistakes, they will continue pointing fingers at each other.

Commenting on the intentions by the opposition Alliance to report certain individuals in ruling party to the ICC for allegedly perpetrating political violence and inhuman actions in the recent Sesheke by-election, Bishop Kakuwa says the gravity of the matter at hand does not warrant the two parties to involve the International Criminal Court.

He says this is because the matter can be resolved locally.

Bishop Kakuwa has since called for a change in the political discourse for the sake of the international community that looks to Zambia as a haven of peace.

He says the nation is grappling with a lot of challenges and cannot waste time on petty issues.
