SESTUZ proposes for Ban of tuition’s during exams

Secondary Schools Teachers Union of Zambia (SESTUZ) has proposed the ban on tuitions during the examination period.

SESTUZ General Secretary, Sitibekiso Wamuyuwa has observed that the last minute tuitions given to examination candidates are actually a conduit for linkages.

Mr. Wamuyuwa has wondered what it is a tutor can teach a candidate during the examination period when exams are underway.

He says it has become a common norm for candidates and students to attend last minute tuitions which in some cases are even held very late in the night during the examination period.

Mr Wamuyuwa has advised tutors to utilise the time they have before the examination period to impart all the knowledge they can into their students, so that last minute tuitions, whose genuineness are questionable are avoided.
