UPND dismisses fake reports

The United Party for National Development (UPND) has dismissed as fake reports circulating on social media that the party has made changes at Vice President level.

UPND Spokesperson Charles Kakoma says Dr Geoffrey Mwamba remains the party’s Vice President.

Mr Kakoma adds that UPND has no intentions of replacing Dr Mwamba with anybody else as Vice President.

He has since advised members of the public to ignore the reports.

Some social media platforms had reported that United Party for National Development leader Hakainde Hichilema had dropped Mr Mwamba as party Vice President replacing him with former Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kamwili.
