Zulu calls for increased participation by local investors

Eastern province Minister Makebi Zulu has called for increased participation by local investors in the upcoming Eastern province Investment Expo and Conference.

The Expo which will be held from 26^th to 30^th August, 2019 is expected to attract 500 local and foreign exhibiting companies with over 3,000 people attending the conference.

Speaking during the weekly media briefing at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Services, Mr Zulu says eastern province has a lot of potential to contribute to national development which is currently not being harnessed.

He says the province has about 2,000 heactares of land which can be used for farming,but is not being utilized.

And Expo organizing committee Chairperson Noel Nkhoma shared how far preparations have gone and on the finances needed to successfully host the Expo.
