Opposition Alliance and PAC part ways

PeP President Sean Tembo

The Opposition Alliance has announced that People’s Alliance for Change (PAC) has seized to be part of the alliance.

Speaking during a media briefing Opposition Alliance Chairperson of the media and finance subcommittees, Sean Tembo says this now leaves the number of opposition parties in the Alliance at 12.

Mr. Tembo has explained using an analogy that the alliance during one of its routine medical checkups realized that one of its toes had developed an infection.

He states that the level of infection was so advanced that all efforts to try and save the toe were unsuccessful and the Opposition Alliance decided to take the painful decision to amputate this toe, for fear of the infection spreading to the entire foot and possibly the leg of the Alliance.

But when contacted for a comment, PAC President Andyford Banda said he could not comment on the matter stating that the party will soon be having a press briefing to give its position on the matter.
