Mrs. Katongo says in the written note, Mr. Kambwili’s lawyers had asked that their client be given three days in which to appear before the police, but that the police have settled for Monday.

In the said video which has gone viral on social media, Mr. Kambwili is heard questioning the foreign nationals who is a compactor driver working for a road construction company as to whether a Zambian cannot do the work he was  doing.

Mr. Kambwili further alleges that it is people like the compactor driver who are taking away jobs meant for indigenous Zambians.
