The Opposition Alliance says it will report President Edgar Lungu and seven others to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in its quest for justice over the escalated political violence in Zambia.

He says in addition to reporting the 8 individuals to the ICC, the Alliance will also give a report to UNCHR, AU, SADC organ on security, Amnesty International and the Human Rights Commission.

Mr Milupi has explained that the Alliance has opted to take this route because it is cautious of the difficulties it is likely to encounter in getting justice from the local judicial system.

Mr. Tembo, who is also Patriots for Economic Progress (PeP) states that the Alliance wants to be thorough in compiling its evidence given the high standards the ICC demands for a case to be heard.
