Public health expert Beck Banda has warned of multiple litigation of over 40 organizations that are infringing the copyright of his innovation, the Safe Motherhood Action Groups (SMAGs).
Dr. Banda says he has now instructed his lawyers to visit all organizations in the Country that are using SMAGs without his express permission.
In an interview with QTV News Dr. Banda says he has opted to take legal action because all organizations using SMAGs have ignored the legal notice published by his lawyers.
Dr. Banda states that the challenge he is however facing is the copyright of his innovation is also being infringed upon by the custodian of the copyright law.
He notes that his lawyers are however engaging with government over the issue
