Munali councilor disappointed with people deterring development

A Civic leader in Lusaka’s Munali ward 33 has expressed disappointed with the people who are deterring the development of the area.

Councilor Sylvester Mulenga is disappointed that people are already dumping garbage in the new drains which are yet to be completed.

Mr Mulenga has told QTV news that the people behind such acts are forgetting that the drainages are being built as a way of creating a conducive environment for them.

He points to the fact that the area has this rainy season recorded reduced incidences of flooding owing to the drainages that have been constructed on most roads.
