Drop Chitotela, Lungu urged

President Edgar Lungu has been urged to consider dropping Housing and Infrastructure Development Minister Ronald Chitotela following his arrest for corruption.

Christian Coalition Secretary General, Paul Mbulo says president Lungu set precedence when he fired Emerine Kabanshi as Community Development Minister when her ministry was implicated in the abuse of social cash transfer funds.

He says the coalition expects the similar action to be taken against other ministers who feel that they are untouchable.

And New Congress Party President Peter Chanda has welcomed the arrest of infrastructure Minister Ronald Chitotela for alleged corruption.
