Government has instituted investigations into the publication of the death certificate of late President Michael Sata in a recent book authored by former Vice President Guy Scott.
Chief Government Spokesperson Dora Siliya says government wants to establish whether or not Dr. Scott got possession of the death certificate when he acted as Republican President.
Ms. Siliya has told a media briefing in Lusaka that government is also interested to know whether or not the late President’s family consented to the publication of his death certificate.
He states that government has taken note that the publication of the death certificate has not been received well by one of the late President’s Children Mulenga Sata.
Ms. Siliya, who is also Minister of Information and Broadcasting Services, says government has also observed that the publication of the death certificate has been condemned by other Zambians.
