GBM welcomes the arrest of Chitotela

UPND Vice President Geoffrey Mwamba says the arrest of Housing and Infrastructure Development Minister Ronald Chitotela for corruption is long overdue.
Addressing a press conference, Mr. Mwamba says it is not the first time that Mr. Chitotela has been implicated in corrupt activities.
Mr. Mwamba has wondered why President Edgar Lungu found it fit to appoint Mr. Chitotela as a cabinet minister when records are there to show that Mr. Chitotela has been involved in corruption.
The UPND Vice President has since urged the president to allow other ministers to be investigated, stating that Mr. Chitotela is not the only alleged corrupt minister.
Meanwhile Mr. Mwamba says it is a shame that some opposition political party leaders have allowed themselves to be used by the pf to cause confusion in the national dialogue process.
Mr. Mwamba has wondered how people can doubt the capacity of the church to lead the dialogue process when it has done so in the past by ensuring there is unity in the country.
He has accused the ZCID of having frustrated the commonwealth and now wants to frustrate the church in promoting unity in the country through dialogue.
